Arrange your mortgage
Whether you are applying for your first mortgage, re-mortgaging or securing a mortgage for an investment property the first step is to arrange your mortgage. This can be done by going to your preferred lender or alternatively instructing your own personal mortgage broker to find the best deal/mortgage available for you. Its great to get a mortgage in principle ready so you can budget out and know what price range to look out for when finding your property.

Find your property
Step 1- There is numerous ways in finding a property and whilst there is a wealth of information available online on popular property websites such as Zoopla. Make sure to registering with us so we can look out for your all your tailored requirements as well as keeping you updated on all of our latest properties.

Make a Offer
2 Step - You have found a property you would like to buy. The second step is to make a offer. You need to think carefully about what offer to make. Whilst its great to get money off you also have to think about potential other buyers and your overall budget.

Offer Agreed
Step 3- Your offer has been accepted. Its time to inform your solicitor and the bank of your accepted offer.

Conveyancing & Surveys
Step 4- Now the conveying and surveys will be carried out. Your mortgage lender will send someone around for valuation purposes to assure that what they are lending you is achievable in the asset. However it is also very useful to have a homebuyer report or building survey carried out for a more thorough inspection.

Exchange Contracts
Part 5- Now its time to exchange contracts this is the legally binding part of the process this is also the point in which the deposit is paid for the property. Once the contracts and deposit have been exchanged and all final checks have been completed both parties should now agree upon a date for completion.

Completion
Step 6- Completion Day this is the day the remainder of the money will be paid through your solicitors and you will get the keys to your new property. CONGRATULATIONS!
